Bratz Fashions

My Target finally put the old Bratz fashions at 70% off so I was able to get two of them for $2.08 each.  This is not a Target wide sale because the other four Targets in my rotation still have these at $6.99.

There are four outfits in this line and I had already gotten one from Walmart a long time ago for 3 bucks I think.  I skipped the green dress because even at $2.08 I wasn't feeling it and the shoes in the pack were similar to ones I already have.

First up is the coat. This is very well made and detailed. I don't have a single complaint about it.  Even the boots are nice.  The belt strap does not come out of the buckle.  There is velcro underneath it and it fastens to the strap on the opposite side.

I only have 1 of each outfit so I whipped out the tripod so I could get some side-by-side comparison of how they look on a Monster body (taller doll). I had to take the Monster hands off to get the coat on, but other than that, it's a nice fit. I changed the Bratz's shoes so the girls looked similar.

There used to be a little polka dotted bow tie on this but I yanked it off. I feel like this is too short on the Monster, but it's actually falling in the same spot on their thighs.  Still, it looks less "naughty school girl" on the Bratz.

I love how the "school" outfit looks under the coat. It makes it rather smart and stylish.  I rubber banded the blue sleeves to her wrists before I put the coat over it or the blue sleeves would have bunched into the coat.  She looks like a junior reporter running to a scoop.

I'm calling this a ski-bunny jumper because otherwise I don't understand its concept.  It will not fit a Monster body.  Monsters have much longer torsos than Bratzs so the jumper gets stuck at the Monster's hoo-hoo and wont go over her shoulders.

The jumper has a huge faux zipper in front of it that is really stiff. I like the boots, in particular, the fang pointed heels.  The shorts versus long sleeves is really throwing me off. I still don't get it.  Maybe it's pajamas.

Oh, well, the doll likes it, especially after I took that unnecessary zipper off.  She says, "It's fun."

Pfft, whatever.

"Don't mind her! This outfit is awesome!"

  1. Wow, great deals! There are a couple of Targets around here, but they pretty much never have anything on clearance. All those outfits are really nice looking & geez, the quality control! Take a clue, Mattel! Whatever the third thing is, it's pretty cute. I like the junior reporter outfit the best though. That's an adorable little model you have there! :)

    1. Smidge Girl, we have Targets coming out the wazoo over here so I'm able to find some good deals every once in awhile. Mattel puts out so much stuff I guess they have to make it as cheap as possible and with little to no quality control.

    1. Thanks, Ajatoco! It's more like a talent for not wanting to spend money, lol. I call it my "cheap radar."

  3. I also have found in the shops in my town some old Bratz fashion packs, but nothing as cool as the stuff you found! Lucky girls your dolls :)

    1. Sergio, these are the first "old" Bratz pack I've seen. Either they release them really slow or I never noticed the earlier versions.

  4. I have the school girl outfit but not a doll to fit it. I thought it was cute when I purchased it several months ago. Now I'm wondering if Chyna can wear it minus the shoes. Will certainly see as soon as I migrate from my bed to the doll room later. If she can, I might make a quick trip to Target today.

Whose head are you using on the Bratz body?

    1. Hiya, DBG! They are Barbie Fairy heads and you can see my post on them here. I would think that Bratz dresses and pants would fit a VIP.

    2. Thanks Muff. The fairies have very sweet faces.

    3. The Bratz school dress does fit V.I.P. Chyna's body, but it's far too short.

    4. DBG, I thing most Bratz stuff needs pants or leggings when you try to put it on a doll with a different torso.

  5. Cute outfits (and great prices). I really like the junior reporter look, it looks very smart and practical. The short jumpsuit really suits the doll, maybe adding leggings would make it more sensible for wearing because you're right - you either have freezing legs or overheated arms.

    1. Carrickters, I'm probably showing my age by calling her a junior reporter as I don't even know if they have them any more. Since the Bratz has peg legs I wonder if the leggings would work or if the peg would bore a hole in them. Hmmm.

    1. Hi, Natalia! Yeah, if the jumpsuit had long pants then it would make more sense to me. Maybe they were tring to make it sexy?

I like the clothes (not feeling the pink boots though) but I don't think they look really Bratz like.
I don't know, I just have an other picture in my head of how Bratz clothes look like I guess xD

    1. Hey there, Tali! Those pink boots look exactly like the pink boots that Liv put out. They do give a Barbie-ish vibe.

    1. Hi, Acerico. The outfits will definitely not fit a Barbie or Liv body, but they should fit a Barbie teen (Skipper?)

    2. Acerico, Maria says the clothes don't fit Skipper so ignore me, lol.

  13. I love the raincoat, i bought it too. I thought it would fit my Skipper dolls but it was to small for them. It fits my Daisy and Havoc dolls perfect...i now want to buy more Bratz clothes for them, i love the quality.

    1. Wow, Maria and I just told Acerico that Bratz stuff should fit a Skipper body. Oops! Shows what I know, lol. I thought the Skippers were small sized, like Monsters.

  16. Hello from Spain: I envy! I have to go visit your stores because the coat is very nice. All clothing is very cheap there. I love watching your dolls with new clothes. Keep in touch

    1. Marta, the original cost of the coat was $6.99, but I have to say, for the quality, it was probably worth the full price.

  17. Thanks for the info. The only outfit I don't have is the jumper. I, too, don't get it. It looks like a winter outfit, but they are shorts. I could use a few more of the cute school dresses, so I will check my Targets. Two weekends ago I won a $10 Target giftcard for winning a game at a baby shower. I was ecstatic. It was the best gift for me. All the other gifts were body lotion type stuff. I will be cashing it in within the next few days. By the way, Nikaya wore the green dress to the wedding. I love it for a dressy outfit.

    1. Hi, Vanessa. A $10 Target gift card is great. You can stretch the heck out of that at the $1.00 section alone.

The green dress was too dressy for me. It was so fluffy and girly.

  18. Congratulations on the sales and the cute outfits. I would love that safari coat, too. I'll have to check the Targets in my area. The schoolgirl dress would make a nice uniform if you had a bunch of dolls that size.

Thanks for the comparison shots, too.

    1. Hiya, Dana. It's a Safari? I'm not up on clothing designs. I thought it was too short to be a trench, but what do I know, lol. But now that you've said that, all I need is a pith helmet.

  20. Hi, Muff! Regarding the safari name - that's how it looks to me because of the color and the material, but I suppose extra pockets especially breast pockets would have sealed that title ;-)
