Spending Money Already

I just got back from setting up at the doll venue and I've already bought doll stuff from another vendor before the show even starts tomorrow, lol.

Got her for $25! I've never even heard of this line before.

Also from the same vendor got this:

$10! My first time seeing a Fashion Fever box in person.
These pics are horrible but the stuff looks good inside

I saw loads of items I wanted from vendors that were still setting up. If I make any profits tomorrow, it's all going to be spent on doll stuff.

    1. Debbie, when I saw the box I thought it was some new line and got all excited. After I bought it and saw it was from 2006, I checked online for others and the prices are CRAZY. I'll be satisfied with the one I got.

  3. I do hope you photograph the show! The three mini doll events in my state were cancelled this year so I'm going to be suffering from in person dolly bargains and collector chit chat...

  7. Great finds and great prices. I have or had all the On Location dolls. Some of the dolls have left but the clothes stayed behind. I miss the Fashion Fever line. The clothing was great. I hope you sell out and can't wait to see what other goodies you get :O)

    1. Dollz4Moi, I can totally understand that. I plan on keeping the head and accessories from the On Location doll. I know those clothes are going to be too tight for most other bodies though.

I got A LOT of goodies, probably too much, lol.

  8. WOW! That was a really great price! It was worth doing the show to make that purchase. Take plenty of pictures and share them with us. Have a ton of conversations and share them too. I know you will do really well. Please show us the rest of your purchases. We would love to see the show from your eyes.

    1. Ms. Leo, it was totally worth it. I found so many cool things and only purchased a miniscule amount of them... I swear! LOL. I met just about ever vendor there and got some great leads on doll clubs and other doll show events. I might do this again!

  12. Hello from Spain: fabulous shopping. I been for several years looking for that Barbie On location Montecarlo. In Europe that Barbie is very expensive. I have a Barbie On location Barcelona. The clothes and accessories are very glamorous. Keep in touch

    1. Thanks, Marta! I saw the Barcelona version online and she is gorgeous! This was an exquisite line they did and I can guess that's why they are hard to find.

  13. It is too funny that you bought stuff before the show even started, but that is the advantage you have when you participate in a show. I too have never heard of the Best Model series. Your On Location Monte Carlo doll is amazing, especially her clothes. The price you got her for would definitely be too good to pass up. I really miss the Fashion Fever line as well, and the fact that you could get so many accessory and clothing packs for them. Can't wait to see everything you bought!

    1. Phyllis, that was probably my main reason for doing the show, so I could see all the goodies before patrons arrived, lol, and it worked! This vendor hadn't even finished setting up before I was like, "I will buy this from you right now, like RIGHT NOW!"

  14. Welcome to the wonderful world of doing shows. I always spent everything I made at the show. Great price on the Best Model. I have that one and two others from that line. Got them when they first came out. I missed out on Nichelle and have been kicking myself ever since. Hope you did well at the show. I'm sure you had a fabulous time.

    1. Vanessa, I expected to spend some money at the show, just not ALL the money, lol. I got big eyed and then greedy. I just had too good of a time and totally nulled my profit. It was fun though!

  15. Looks like you already had a good show and you hadn't even started. And the person you bought from also probably went home thinking they were going to have good show - so everyone wins. Can't wait to see what else you got.
