Sparkle Girlz Dolls & Clothes

I was astounded to find that my local Walmart actually had some Sparkle stuff in stock. I usually have to visit out of the way Walmarts to find anything but today I was lucky!

I had only seen the little kids in cones before but now they have some fairy types and regular girls. I'm not into the dolls, so I don't think I'd pay $4.94 just for these outfits.

They had a lot of single outfits still for $1.97. They really keep improving the design and the quality.

These were my favorites out of the bunch.

I don't know how they can keep this up at that price point, but I hope they continue.

    1. Oh, so they are new, AG Lanc? I figured they were old versions that my store was finally getting.

  2. I am not fond of overlock finishes, but I see a few pieces that impress me at that price point. Thanks for the awesome photos.

    1. Roville, now that you said it, they did limit the number of fashions that have serger edges. Edges like that are the pits when it comes to sleeve ends because the dolls fingers get caught it in every time.

  3. Cheap and cute! I tried to find them here in PL, but not yet... They are a wee too small for barbies, right? Perhaps Super Model could use those clothes.

    1. Well, MM, the tops fit Barbies just fine, as do the stretchy pants. It's those flared skirts that look skimpy even though they are the same length as regular Barbie clothes. They just look awkward flared out like that.

    1. Mustiwait, they do give you a lot of variety. There was a lot of pink this time around, but it's not in your face and is mixed in well with other colors.

  5. I wish our Wal Mart would get nice ones like these in! Last time I was there, I found only a couple of sets that were even worth considering. Many of these, I would buy.

    1. Erin, I did notice some of the Mattel clothing sets were in stock, but it looked like they were made of that paper type fabric so I didn't even bother.

    1. Marcha, I cant remember if Blythe is the same size as J-Dolls. If so, the Sparkle stuff would be a wee bit loose.

    2. Blythe is about the size of a Vintage Skipper doll. If not for her over-sized head she'd be about 9 inches tall. I think her legs are much shorter than a J-dolls'.

    3. In that case, Maricha, plenty of the tighter tops will fit but the pants really wont.

  9. We've had the regular cone dolls for at least 3 yrs now. Surprised they are just making it to your area. Maybe they were doing select markets. So nice to see they are continuing to produce nice fashions.

    1. MonsterCrafts, it really depends on the fabric. If it's stretchy it fits fine, but if not, they bottoms are more suited for Liv bodies.

  12. I can hardly wait for these to arrive in my local store. I checked today, nothing yet. But I may get just about everyone. I like that leopard top one too. The while top with the colors and the fringe, Yes! I'll just be patient and check every week. I'm running out of storage space for doll clothes, but will that stop me? Nope!

  13. These are really fun and varied for a budget brand. I see several I like. Still no sign of'em here, but a fellow collector was kind enough to send me a couple a while ago.
